SoloOutpost ("we", "us") publishes tax and business-environment information for people deciding where to base a one-person business. This policy explains what data we collect when you visit the site, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site.

What we collect

Analytics data. We use privacy-conscious analytics to understand which pages are read and how visitors find them. This includes your approximate location (country or region), device and browser type, referring site, and the pages you view. We do not use this to identify you personally.
Email address. Only if you choose to subscribe to updates. We use it to send you the updates you asked for, and nothing else.
Technical logs. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL) for security and reliability. These are retained for a short period and then discarded.

We do not ask for or store payment details, and there are no user accounts on SoloOutpost.

To operate, maintain, and improve the site and its content.
To send email updates you have subscribed to.
To keep the site secure and diagnose technical problems.

We use only the cookies needed for the site to work and for basic, aggregate analytics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

Who we share it with

Third-party links

SoloOutpost links out to government portals, tax authorities, and other sources. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.

Unsubscribe from email updates at any time using the link in any email we send.
Ask us what data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@solooutpost.com.

Children

SoloOutpost is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
